So now what?..... More Amanda Hocking

After reading within days, three of her books (the Trylle Trilogy) I decided to see what else she had written. Hollowland was the next book I found by Amanda Hocking. This book was another awesome book. The main character is Remy; you go along with her as she travels through the wasteland that the world has become. Remy is an amazing heroin in this book. She is tough and keeps herself and others grounded. This book was awesome. Suspense, danger, love, fear, it has it all. It kept me on edge. This was an action filled book. Just when you think you know what’s going to happen you’re shocked. I read it in one night. The only drawback was I didn’t know it was a part of a series (The Hollows) until I got to the end of the book. I was shocked and a little mad at having to wait to read more. I am anxiously waiting for the second book (Hollowmen due out October 2011). After the shock of left hanging (my own stupidity I had no idea it was the first of a series that is in progress if I would have known I wouldn’t have been so shocked and stuck on it) I decided to see what else Amanda Hocking had.
I found the My Blood Approves series. I wasn’t too sure, I had recently read all four of the Twilight books and wasn’t really feeling diving back into vampires. But I thought since Amanda writes so well and it’s easy to read and is so, mmm how can I explain it, hip, now? That works, her writing seems so real maybe she could put a different spin on vampires for me. So, My Blood Approves was next.
